President John C. Murphy
President John C. Murphy received the Kenneth E. McNary Achievement Award at the Inspection ceremonies on May 9, 2015.
President Murphy joined the Elsmere Fire Company on November 28, 1993 and became an active member on January 28, 1999. He served the Company as Director from 2007 through 2012, and as President since 2013. He was recognized for his response to the World Trade Center 9/11 tragedy. During his term as President, John has been instrumental to the success of many Company undertakings, especially the Annual Fish Fry's and guidance for the Company's Explorer Post 30.
